About the activities
Behind-the-scenes tour (€5 p.p.)
During the tour you will be taken through the intake, the different stages of rehabilitation, fish kitchen and surgery room. The tour is €5 per person and the group size is max 20 people.
Tickets can be bought until 8:00 on the day via our website or while stocks last at the counter.
Dizkoffer
During the Dizkoffer show, a staff member tells all about seals using 'the Dizkoffer'. This is a suitcase filled with a skull, whiskers and even a piece of seal fur. Everything can be touched! This is how you discover what a seal's fur actually feels like.
Quiz Common/Grey seal
Want to know more about the different species of seals in the Wadden Sea? Visit the film room and learn how to tell the difference between Common and Grey seals.
Strandings
Are you curious about what happens before a seal ends up at our sanctuary? Visit the film room and learn how we deal with Stranded seals ánd how you can help wild seals.
Will you join us to explore the mudflats and spot seals? Along the way, you will get an explanation about this special nature reserve that has World Heritage status, and not for nothing.
